Ministry of Power launches the Transmission System for Integration of over 500 GW RE Capacity by 2030 plan, aimed at building a transmission system for evacuating 500 gigawatts (GW) of non-fossil-based energy by 2030. The plan, developed in consultation with states, seeks to provide transmission infrastructure for upcoming generation centres in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Ladakh.
