Punjab cabinet approves the new Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2022, aimed at spurring industrial development and creating employment opportunities in the state. The new policy would be applicable for five years from October 17, 2022.

Odisha announces the Policy for Setting up Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) with an aim to increase the adoption of e-vehicles. Under the policy, the government has decided to scrap vehicles that were registered more than 15 years ago.

Kerala presents the State Budget 2023-2024 for fiscal 2023-24 with an expenditure outlay of ~$19.27 billion.
