Uttar Pradesh seeks suggestions on its draft Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy. The policy proposes full exemption on stamp duty for private industrial parks and immediate land availability to companies with 100% foreign direct investment (FDI).

Uttar Pradesh approves its Micro Small Medium Enterprises Promotion Policy (MSME) 2022 to help set up MSMEs. The policy aims to develop industrial belts by identifying 5 acres or more of land in every panchayat to boost MSMEs in villages.

Uttar Pradesh approves its Uttar Pradesh Bioenergy Policy 2022 to help set up bioenergy projects. The policy aims to promote production of compressed bio-gas, bio-coal, ethanol, and bio-diesel in the state.

Kerala unveils its draft Industrial and Commercial Policy 2022 that aims to attract investments, foster entrepreneurship, and promote employment generation. The policy is expected to be finalized in January 2023 and will come into effect from April 2023.
