Maharashtra announces incentives in the form of capital subsidies for solar project installations by textile units in the state. The incentives are a part of the state government’s Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy, approved in June 2023, and will stay effective till 2028.

Odisha notifies the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Policy, 2023 to attract private investment in the construction of public infrastructure. The policy will be applicable to all infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, ports, railways, airports, irrigation, helipads, industrial parks, logistic hubs, water supply, power, tourism, sports, healthcare, education, and inland waterways implemented through the PPP route.

Permissions for groundwater extraction, operating drilling rigs and water tankers in Punjab under Punjab Ground Water Extraction and Conservation Directions 2023 can be obtained by applying through the portal.
Karnataka announces a $3,615.81 subsidy for minority community members for purchasing four-wheeler vehicles.
Rajasthan launches the Indira Rasoi Scheme in the rural areas of the state by opening 1,000 kitchens in villages. As per the scheme, the kitchens will provide food for $0.1 a plate to all beneficiaries.
Uttarakhand tables a supplementary budget of approximately $1.4 billion for 2023-24 proposing the allocations for drinking water and infrastructure development projects in the state.

Union Cabinet approves an additional allocation of $140 million for an industrial development scheme for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The additional fund was required to meet the committed liabilities under the scheme up to 2028-29.
