Maharashtra proposes to establish a state-level institute on the lines of NITI Aayog for faster and more inclusive economic growth. Delhi rolls out a new property tax amnesty scheme for unauthorized colonies and unauthorized regularized colonies. The scheme announces a waiver on outstanding property tax dues prior to the financial year 2021-22 upon the payment of the principal amount of property tax dues for the financial years 2021-22 and 2022-23.

Delhi launches an open database facility for EV charging and battery swapping stations on its ‘Switch Delhi’ portal to bring all the electric vehicle players on a single platform. The database will enable open access to more than 2,500 charging points in Delhi to all EV players who can further develop platforms to provide seamless information about charging and battery-swapping stations to all EV users in Delhi.

West Bengal issues its ‘Open Access Regulations 2022’. Green consumers who have contracted demand or sanctioned load of 100 kW will be eligible to procure green energy through open access in the state. There will be no load limitation for captive consumers procuring power under green energy open access.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launches its “National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) 2022.” 384 drugs have been included in this list with addition of 34 new drugs, while 26 from the previous list have been dropped. The medicines have been categorized into 27 therapeutic categories.
