Odisha extends the “Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana” (BSKY) health scheme to children aged between 5 and 18 years who are currently not enrolled in the scheme. The children can avail the benefits of the scheme, if their parents are current beneficiaries. Under the scheme, all beneficiaries can avail free healthcare services at government hospitals, and get families, and women get an additional coverage of INR 5 lakh for treatment at empanelled private hospitals.

Haryana releases the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023, which enables residents to register independent floors in properties located in licensed colonies as a commercial unit. As per the amendment, one floor per building will be allowed to be registered as a commercial unit.
