Center approves six light water reactors in cooperation with the US

The central government has granted ‘in principle’ approval for six Light Water Reactors in cooperation with the U.S. in Srikakulam district. Pre-project activities, including land acquisition, obtaining statutory clearances, and detailed site investigations, are continuing at the site.
