Delhi increases power tariff's fixed charge for heavy users

The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) announced a hike in the fixed charge component of the electricity tariff for heavy users. Consumers with 3-5 kilowatt connections will have to pay a fixed charge of $1.64 to $2.73, compared to $1.56 previously.
