Gujarat has equalled the record lowest tariff of 3 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh), or unit, for solar power in India in a reverse e-auction carried out by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for 500 MW solar power capacity saw two power developers quoting a tariff of 3 cents per unit.
