Karnataka reduces benchmark tariff for grid-connected solar

The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) has reduced the benchmark tariff for grid-connected utility-scale solar from 10.1 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 6.8 cents per kWh. This is lower than the 7 cents per kWh set by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
