Madhya Pradesh increases power tariffs

The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) has raised power tariffs by an average of 9.48 percent for the 2017-18 fiscal year. Agricultural consumers will see an increase of 13 percent, while industrial power tariffs will go up 5 percent.
