OERC announces increased power tariffs

The Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) announced an increase of 10 paise per unit in many consumers’ electricity tariffs. The tariff for domestic consumers using up to 50 units (3.3 million out of a total of 5.6 million electricity users) remained unchanged at 3.8 cents per unit.
