Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Mundra liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, which has a capacity of 5 million tons per year and has been built at a cost of $695 million. It is connected to a high-pressure transmission grid that ensures LNG reaches the end user directly.
