POWERGRID begins commercial operations at Champa-Kurukshetra HVDC line's second pole

The Power Grid Corp said it has started commercial operations of 1,500 MW at the second pole of the Champa-Kurukshetra high voltage direct current line, which will improve power supplies to northern India.
