Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has contracted with the Gujarat Power Corporation Limited to buy an additional 1,000 MW of power for the next three months at 4 cents per unit. The deal will help PSPCL prevent a potential power shortfall during the paddy sowing season.
