Construction, renovation and modernization works under the restructured accelerated power development and reforms program (R-APDRP) are expected to be complete in Kozhikode by March. The project will help the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) to improve supply reliability and address distribution loss. R-APDRP includes preparation of consumer indices, geographic information system mapping, metering of distribution transformers and feeders and supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA), as well as renovation, modernization, and strengthening of distribution systems.
