Telangana cabinet approves policy to promote usage of electric vehicles (EV)

The Telangana cabinet has approved a policy to promote the usage of EVs. The policy provides for 100 percent exemption from road tax and registration fee to EV buyers. For manufacturers, it includes tax subsidies, power tariff discounts and stamp duty exemption.
