Telangana CM announces 7.5 percent increase in power tariffs

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has increased the power tariff by 7.5 percent, effective June 27. The hike mainly affects the commercial, IT, and industrial sectors, as 8 million domestic and agricultural consumers are already exempt.
