UDAY to be amended to include participation of states like Odisha

The power ministry will request the cabinet make changes to the Ujjwal Discom Assurance Yojana (UDAY) discom bailout scheme in order to extend the scheme to states, like Odisha, that have privatized their power distribution networks.
