UP power regulator gives consumers a shock with 8-15% tariff hike

Uttar Pradesh’s power sector watchdog approved 8-15 percent tariff hike for different categories of rural and urban consumers. Interestingly, the power tariffs had remained unchanged during 2018-19 in run up to the Lok Sabha elections.
