Uttar Pradesh announces all households electrified in the state

Uttar Pradesh, considered the biggest roadblock to the center’s complete electrification program, has completed the household electrification drive within the stipulated deadline of December 31. The achievement came as a surprise because, at the beginning of December, the state had faced a daunting task of energizing 5.5 million households.
