Vizag to host new Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy

The Union Cabinet approved an act to establish the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy at Visakhapatnam. If passed, the act will create a new institution modeled on the Indian Institutes of Technology and a Center of Excellence in petroleum and energy studies.
