Telangana recorded a 17 percent decline in sex ratio at birth from 2015-2016 to 2017-2018 according to a report titled “The Healthy States Progressive India Report “ by NITI Aayog. While the sex ratio at birth was 918 during the 2015-2016, it has come down to 901 in 2017-2018.
