Haryana releases the revamped Haryana Solar Power Policy 2023 replacing the previous Haryana Solar Power Policy 2016. As per the policy, the state has a plan to install a cumulative 6 GW solar capacity by 2030. This includes 1.6 GW of rooftop solar power plants, 3.2 GW of ground-mounted solar power plants and the solarization of irrigation pumps with a capacity of 1.2 GW.
