Assam reduces the existing tax rate on Motor Vehicle Tax (non-Transport) by 2 percent

Assam reduces the existing tax rate on Motor Vehicle Tax (non-Transport) by 2 percent with the aim to promote electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the state. The tax reduction will be available for all EV purchases till March 31, 2025.
