Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) announces the Tariff and Other Terms for Supply of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources and non-fossil fuel based Co-generating Stations (First Amendment) Regulations, 2024 to increase the share of electricity from renewable energy sources and non-fossil fuel-based co-generating stations sourced by the state. The renewable purchase obligation (RPO) for distribution companies has been increased to 29.91 percent for 2024-25 and will go up to 43.33 percent by 2029-30.
