The Andhra Pradesh government launched a Zero Based Natural Farming scale-out program, to benefit six million farmers by 2024. President Ram Nath Kovind has accorded his assent to The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement (Haryana Amendment) Bill, 2017."The Manohar Lal Khattar Government in Haryana was awaiting the president's assent to the bill passed by the State Assembly in March 2017. The bill recommended incorporating Section 101-A in the Right to Fair Compensation Act, 2013 to provide the state government power to de-notify a land acquired for a project. Karnataka
The Congress and the JD(S) will contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls together. The parties announced the power-sharing deal for their coalition government in Karnataka where Congress got control of 22 ministries including home, irrigation, health, agriculture and women, and child welfare and the JD(S) will handle 12 ministries, including finance & excise, PWD, education, tourism, and transport.

Solar microinverter supplier Enphase Energy and solar module manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd. have announced their 4.5 MW solar project installation in Hosapet, Karnataka. The project will generate more than 7,500 megawatt-hours (MWh) of solar power annually.

Madhya Pradesh
Asian Development Bank will provide $375 million (about Rupees 2,532 crore) loan for a project to improve irrigation in Madhya Pradesh. The total cost of the project cost is $535.1 million, of which $160.71 million will be provided by the government.

Maharashtra
The Maharashtra government has announced the opening of a 'sandbox' to boost start-ups, i n its efforts to develop the financial capital into a fintech hub. The state has a dedicated fintech policy, and is also planning to have a dedicated 'Fintech Officer' in the Department of Information Technology. Tamil Nadu
Tangedco harnessed 13 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) or units of wind energy and 2.9 billion kWh / units of solar energy in 2017-18.
